Connemara Lodge

Located in a wild and unspoilt valley of extraordinary beauty, the 1000-acre  estate is one of Ireland’s hidden treasures. The historic lodge, is surrounded by the tallest mountains in the region, overlooks the lakes and rivers of the local valley. The area surrounding the lodge is famous for  salmon and sea-trout fishing.

An idyllic mountain location, whilst under an hour from the brilliant Galway City. Possibly Ireland's best city. A gem of culture, arts, food & entertainment.

West Cork House

Originally built in 1771 by Captain George Sandes, West Cork House has had many interesting owners over the years. Each generation has left its signature on the house and gardens, to be enjoyed by guests.

If you mention the house to anyone living in the area and they immediately associate it with Noel Redding, former bass guitarist with the Jimi Hendrix Experience. For more than 30 years Noel lived here, where he entertained music legends throughout the 70’s, 80’s and 90’s.

It's the perfect secluded location, surrounded by laid back beach towns, rolling countryside and a great city close by if you want to feel the buzz.

Paradise Found

The remote lakeside location of the  cottage in County Kerry, was once only home to a heard of mountain goats, who used it to shelter from the bleak Irish winters. Hundreds of years on, a local family transformed the abandoned mountainside cottage into a luxury hideaway that couples and families can claim all for themselves. Set between emerald green farmland and cloud-shrouded mountains, beneath its red iron roof.

The cottage was built in the early 1800s and then abandoned in 1960 when Jack 'The Badger' O'Shea moved his family to Killarney. For the next 40 years, it became a winter refuge to a herd of goats (they're still on the mountain!) then in 2003 we started to restore the cottage by first carefully peeling off its rotting roof to create the beautiful cottage.

Paradise found, on a mountain side in Kerry.

Atlantic Edge
Lighthouse

Atlantic Edge Lighthouse stands guard at the entrance to Clew Bay, on a small island off Ireland’s western Atlantic coast. For almost 2000 years, the lighthouse has been a nautical landmark perched high on the craggy cliffs, watching over the ocean below. Once a safe haven for sailors, this heritage property now offers a sanctuary of a different kind. This architecturally majestic, listed building has been lovingly transformed.

Atlantic Edge Lighthouse is a ‘great escape’ - a restorative haven, where even the busiest mind is soon stilled by the unhurried island pace. The is home to only 150 residents,1 pub, and 1 shop . A 20 minute ferry ride from the mainland will take you ashore. The interiors, in keeping with the ethos of the lighthouse and its location, are uncluttered & sleek but exceedingly comfortable.  There are no TV's, but Wi-Fi is available so guests can use their own portable devices.

Glin Castle

Glin Castle, home for 800 years of the Fitzgerald family, hereditary Knights of Glin, stands proudly in the middle of its 400 acre wooded demesne on the banks of the Shannon. The toy-fortress like quality is echoed by three sets of battlemented Gothic folly lodges.

The present Glin Castle, which succeeds the medieval ruin in the village of Glin was built in the late 18th century with entertaining in mind. The entrance hall with a screen of Corinthian pillars has a superb neoclassical plaster ceiling and the enfilade of the reception rooms are filled with a unique collection of Irish 18th century mahogany furniture.

Imagine your perfect Irish castle vacation. Well, here it is.

Castleknock Castle was built in the 15th century. Formally under the ownership of a member of the Guinness family, the castle is the perfect private base in the Dublin area.

Close to the castle is the formal walled garden with its special rose display, an apple orchard and a delightful arboretum with over 300 types of exotic trees and plants. Set in extensive parkland and woodland. Over the years many famous people have passed through doors, including the Queen Victoria, Prince Rainier and Princess Grace of Monaco, Fred Astaire, and Victoria and David Beckham.

The architecture of the castle is complex and represents a progression from medieval stronghold to comfortable dwelling. Gothic Revival features dominate.
