The Belmond Grand Hibernian is Ireland's very own "Orient Express". The train made famous throughout the world by author Agatha Christie in her novel "Murder on the Orient Express" has been recreated for an Irish experience. Guests can experience the luxury of the Orient Express whilst Crisscross acres of patchwork fields and craggy coasts, stopping in some of Ireland’s most storied cities. The experience takes you back in time when rail travel was an experience, not a journey, a time when fine dining, onboard entertainment and waiter service were more important than reaching your intended destination.

The train’s stunning interior combines modern luxury with traditional design. Each train offers 16 twin and four double cabins which are en-suite, and also include storage, a writing desk and chair. Each cabin has a large window to ensure you can appreciate the stunning beauty of the Irish countryside from your bedroom.
The Observation Car combines the warm atmosphere and elegance of a Dublin saloon. It is the perfect place to mingle with fellow travellers, listen to live musicians and animated storytellers or just sit back with a drink and enjoy the lovely views.
