Renowned,    for good reason

A Country with so much to offer

Scotland is a bucket list destination for some many, and for very good reason. It is a country of so much variety and fun.

It plays home to an astonishing 8% of Europe's coastline, the country's cliffs, bays, and inlets stretch for 19,000 kilometers.

Edinburgh encapsulates everything you would want in a great city; architecturally beautiful, bursting with culture, and easy to get around, oh one or two great pubs!

The famous highlands offer something totally unique, a real feeling of awe. There is something intangible, yet magical about the highlands. Difficult to explain, yet impossible to forget.

Edinburgh, a city of Nooks & Crannies

Whilst the city is dominated by the towering presence of Edinburgh Castle, it is the narrow closes and the wonderful small squares which are dotted around the city, that make it unique.

The richly historic city is a rabbit warren of mysterious alleyways which connect the narrow angular streets of the Old Town - by-ways that are best explored on foot for an intimate encounter with the heritage, architecture, and charm which makes the city so captivating.

Edinburgh is a city that is as open to new ideas as it is traditional, it's not difficult to understand why so many people from every corner of the globe love it.

The Epic Highlands

The Highlands stretch

from Fort William in the west, right up the coast by Skye, around the North Coast 500 to Durness and John O' Groats in the far north. It also runs up to Inverness and east out to Elgin, taking in Aviemore and some of the Cairngorms National Park.

Finding the right location for your clients is about knowing what they are looking for.

Do they want to be in the mountains or would they prefer to be in a city like Inverness which is more of a big town than a city!

Would they like to hike and take in a unique off-road experience or some of the many castles?

The Highlands are a treasure trove of exploration. Mountains and Glens, Lochs and Coves. Great accommodation options and lots of great locals to show you around.

Immersion is what makes the Highlands so unique. You can't help but be absorbed.

Over the Sea to Skye

What they thought

BROOKE LAVERY - LOCAL FOREIGNER

“I love working with Ray and the Gather Ireland team. He is smart, creative, charming, seems to know every human being in Ireland, and has a knack for inspiring the best in people. He can simultaneously dream big and focus on the little details-- and I just trust him.

He also knows how to crack a joke which helps too. We've sent him some very tough-to-impress clients and he's worked his magic and went above and beyond.“

Folklore, Myths & Legends

Over the centuries, Scotland has amassed its fair share of myths and some of the world's most legendary warriors.

From the lesser-known Mester Stoor Worm to the world famous Lough Ness Monster, The Kelpies to the Nine Maids of Dundee, there are lots of myths to be discovered.

Of legends, we speak so freely, so adoringly. Of legends who defended our lands and our honor so gallantly. None more so than William Wallace - Made Famous in "Braveheart". He fought and beat the English.

In modern culture, the tales of Harry Potter are firmly rooted in Scotland. The last books were written in the Balmoral Hotel Edinburgh and the Scotsman Train which travels north along the Glenfinnan Viaduct is widely referred to as "The Harry Potter Train".

Wherever you travel in Scotland, there is a story to discover.

Made in Scotland

The Gather team creates unique experiences that are immersive, culturally diverse, and fun. A luxury Ireland tour should include all of these.

We focus on quality over quantity; creating unique local experiences, meeting great Irish people, eating amazing foods and supporting the local economy. We believe, the longer guests spend doing this, the more meaningful the experience becomes.

Rather than just travelling around the country like a whirlwind, we create experiences that allow you to be fully immersed in the culture and better understand the country.
